So i have discoverd this very deep love for making candy and baking. I always liked it before but in the recent years it's become this thing that I just love to do, and have found that i'm not to bad at it! So for the holiday season this year I have done everything from scratch! I was able to learn candy making from a such an amazing lady! Jeanette Crounse who in turned learned from her Mother! I feel so privliged that she has taught me! So I hope that whomever get's these little goodies that i've made that they will love it just as much as I have loved making them! A few weeks ago we got to go to UT for a few days! When I say a few I mean like 8! We had the best time! Such good time that the Hubs shed a tear or two when we were leaving! The first part of our trip included spending time with The Mitchell Family!! I love that family!! There girls are AMAZING young woman! We were spoiled with them! All we had to do was change a diaper!

We also were able to drive up to Logan UT! It was by far one of the most beautiful places I've seen! I could live there, if it weren't for the fact that I love Tehachapi more! Forrest would like to live there! We were able to meet up with a dear friend Sarah (Wood)Hadsell!! It was sooooo good to see her!! She was kind enough to take our family pictures for us and hang with us the whole day!! I love that girl! She also would like us to move there!!! Hmmmm...

After our fun weekend in Roy and Logan, we moved onto West Jordan! We were blessed to get to stay with Forrest's brother Charles and his fam! The boys love their cousins! They all played together very well! In West Jordan we got to do alot! We took the kids fishing, ate at Cafe Rio which really YUMMO!! Then we were off to a wedding for a dear friend Branson Haacke and his new wife Shannon! We had such an amazing tim with all our old missionary buddies!! Willie Willson was one of them we also had the pleasure of spending sometime with!! This trip too we also were able to see Temples that we have not been able to see!! Logan, River Jordan, and St. George! It was amazing to see! We had such a great time with our Family and Friends! Hopefully we will get to visit.

Forrest Jr's school put on a dance for Mommies and thier sons (and for any other special gal in their life!). He had asked me last week, so of course I said yes! He was totally excited. We came home from school,and running a few arrends and set off to get ready! He was set to impress tonight! Took a shower and with the help of Daddy put some Brut on, and made sure his hair was did ; ) Like any girl before a date I made him wait 5 minutes (not on purpose) as I was finishing getting ready! He was quite the gentlman, opend my doors for me, complimented me, and then started talking about baseball! When we got to the school he was very adiment on me staying put so he could open my door! I didn't open one door tonight! He actually held my hand as we walked up to the entrance, and paid too ; ) He was very ready to dance but also wanted to wait for his best friend Nicholas! So he decided that he would dance anyway! His buddy showed up just a few moments later and happily joined in with Forrest sliding on the floor! I also must say that Nicholas's Mom and I did not get thirsty, the boys were constantly bringing us drinks!
My son is quite the dancer! I am one proud Momma! He was break dancing, did the air guitar while on the floor and spinning in a circle! But what cracked me up the most was when he got on the Hay Bale and was dancing! It reminded me of the time I pulled the chair on the floor at winter ball my senior year!! I took a picture but it's not very good! We danced a couple of times together, I had to show him my moves! And the one slow dance they had almost brought me to tears even though the song was meant for Father's and Daughters. It was just the thought that my first is not a baby anymore! We had so much fun! After wards I took him to the Frosty King for some much needed ice cream (just in case any of my friends are up here go there they have the best buger and shakes in town!) and a snack! I love my Forrest Jr. and am so glad I got to share this time with him!

Oh the Joys of Peeing and Pooping in the Toilet!!

So I started potty training Katee Jo on Sunday, and I must it reminds me of when I started Forrest Jr.! Mostly accidents on Sunday but as the week has gone by, she has gotten alot better!! Today she hasn't had one accident (knock on wood)! She even took a nap with her undies on! I'm not quite sure I'm ready to venture out though with only undies! I'm hopeing it only get's better so that no more diapers are in our future!!
On a side note, lots of other things have been going on! Forrest Jr. is doing great in his T1 class, his teacher Mrs. Phillips is amazing!! His school is putting on a Mother/Son dance and Forrest Jr .has asked me to go with him!! I of course said YES! I'm very excited. Hopefully I can get a pic with my phone (my camera is broken!) and post it! Also Forrest and I have decided to stay here in Tehachapi! We've always loved it here, but living up here is ten times better! So we are begining our adventure of paying off debt, and saving to buy a house! Were so excited to call this place home and to make it our officail home! We will definetly keep everyone posted on how things go! Till then...

College Football

Growing up as a child come fall was the Best thing on earth! Not just because my birthday was right around the cornor or that halloween was coming up, but come Sept. was the end of saturday cartoons, and the begining of College Football! I remember cheering for my dad's teams PENN,BYU... But then I watched Rudy and everything changed! I was a fighting Irish just like Rudy! Then I decided that I was Irish and that, that is where my heratige is from ( I do have irish on my side) so this helped in making my decision! I have a very deep rooted love for this time of year thanks to my parents who taught me the simplest things in life, like staying home and watching college football on staurdays!!

First Grade! Holy Canolie

Today was Forrest Jr's first day of first grade! He was so excited to go that last night he made sure all of his stuff was neatly hanging on the door shoes ready and school folders ready! (He is my Bob Saget!) We woke up this morning, had pancakes and eggs for breakfast, and Big Forrest gave him a Father's blessing! Then we walked to his school which only took us about 8 mins or so! He is attending Golden Hills Elementary a California Distinguished School!! He starts at 9 in the morning and goes till 3 in the afternoon!! I actually love those hours! His teacher's name is Mrs. Phillips! What an organized lady she is!! There are only 16 kids in the class and she has an aid, which will be great, more personal time with each child!! It's going to be a great year for Forrest!!

Moving on Up!

So this comeing weekend Forrest and I will be moveing our fam up to Tehachapi CA! I am so excited about this move!! It's going to open up so many doors for us! We will actually be able to save for a house!! We are moveing into a really cute 2 bed 1 bath! Yes it's small but small sacrifice for a bigger picture!! The school Forrest Jr will be attending is called Golden Hills Elemantry. They actually just became a distinguished school! They also have a really awesome program for those who are repeating kindergarten;called the T1 program! Transitional first grade. Meaning he will do 1 grade twice, but instead of struggling in a regular first grade class he will be reviewing things he learned in Kindergarten and improving those skills!! They allow 20 kids in the program,Forrest jr is next on the list!! I'm so excited that he might get to do this! Tehachapi has been one of our favorite places, so it helps moving to somewhere you like to be!! However it's just a stepping stone to where our heart is! Northern California!

By FAR my favorite place in the entire universe!! Yes I haven't seen any of Europe but, nothing can compare to the feeling of being home!! My heart will always be here with this amazing place. Southern Cal does not compare!! Were hoping to be here in a year!! So we have work to do!!

Stallion Springs

There is this quant little town just pass Tehachapi! It's called Stallion Springs! There is no grocery store, no place to to eat out; just a gas station with a general store attached to it, a realators office, and church! It is so beautiful there you wouldn't believe it belongs in SoCal! We took a little drive up there with the kids, and went to a little park! It had only a couple of things to play on but the kids loved it! The Scenery was amazing!

It is impossible to get this girl to look at the camera!! She is still to cute though!!

The Horse was by far the favorite!! I love my little man!!I can always get a good one out of Forrest!! What a smile!!

Call back, and my crazy nerves!

So last Wed. April 21, I got a call back for a show called Losing it with Jillian! I actually origianly applied for this show back in Oct. Well the app. consisted of going to a website called casting duo! I spoke to a lovely lady and she gave me the time and date for my interview, and screen test! I asked too about my biggest loser app. and this interview also goes to that too! I got off the phone and like a 12 year old girl who found out that the boy she liked, liked her back;I jumped up and down and was giggeling! I've been trying soooo hard to keep my mnd off of it, not doing a very good job! Yesterday was a mess though I don't think my brain was working at all! I was so nervous! I know i need to be myself and that's what I need to keep in mind!! Today is not so bad! Thank goodness I have a ton of laundry to do and things around the house to keep me busy!! So tomorrow is my interview, and I will post all the details of what happend!!

This time of year is so beautiful in the Antelope Valley! The fields are a blaze of mostly orange, but with some yellow and purple! I haven't seen the hills like this in years! It was amazing to see! I remember as a kid coming out here every year and just walking in the fields, and also getting in trouble cause I would pick them! So it was nice to share this tradition with my kids!

BASEBALL

Thanks Crissy for the photo! So I snagged this photo from my loving sister in law, I didn't have my camera for a while!(It was in vegas!) Forrest Jr. has been interested in baseball since the kid could walk! When he discovered that he could run, well you just couldn't stop him from wanting to know how to do the rest!! So this was his lucky year, he was finally of age to play in a league! We signed him up at El Dorado Little League, which is across the street from our house! We thought that he would be able to play coaches pitch, which means exactly what it says! But because he hadn't played before he had to start with tee-ball! He is on the team Jethawks (named after a local minor league team here in Lancaster)! He was very excited to start playing! He has had about 5 or so games thus far! Nobody wins or looses, but of course in our books Forrest always wins! He is a natural! We love our little Jethawk!

Biggest Loser!

So recently I decided to apply for the Biggest Loser. It was a little nerv-raking! An 8 page application and a 5 to 15 video! I did this all in a matter of two days. The application was very personal, asking things like what is food to you, what it would be like for you to be thin, things like that! I feel like I answered every question honestly and from my heart! The video was definitetly interesting! I actually had to pull up my shirt so that they could see exactly what the show is about! I had to go to my favorite place to eat, which was the easiest part! But when we went I never realized how many sticking calories I was eating in one setting! Forrest Jr had a little part on the video, because this was his idea!! He so lovingly informed me that I was 7 trillion pounds and that I needed to go on biggest loser!! I mailed in my stuff a week ago, and am still waiting to hear back! I am very happy about my decision to apply! I really hope I get picked, but have decided that I need a back up plan if I don't! So plan B will be in full effect starting next week! I turn 30 next year and have made it my goal to be at my goal weight by then! I have a little over a hundred pounds to loose, and am really hoping to accomplish my goal!!

Vegas and the Hoover Dam

We have been lucky enough to visit my Uncle, Aunt, and Cousins in Vegas,well henderson to be exact! So we've been there twice this year already, one time was just a visit the next time was for my beautiful cousin Megan's wedding!! So our first time ever visiting my extended family was over Valentines Day weekend! It was a blast! I personally have never been to the Hoover Dam and so we decided to go! I have recently discovered my distaste for heights, however I try to overcome them so that the children don't become nervous or scared! While walking towards it my legs start to turn to jello and I became overwhelmed. I completly started to freak out (still of course attempting to remain calm how those two work I have no clue!) and began to cry. The images of my children falling over the side was just to much to take! It didn't help though that the whole way over Big Forrest kept cracking jokes about pulling a Micheal jackson, I assume you all know to which situation i'm reffering! So I bravely held the boys up just so they could see for themselves how truely amazing what the men of that time were able to accomplish!!

They boys seemed to have enjoyed themselves, although Forrest Jr. commented on how high it was! I think he just liked it too because this is where the Transformers came!! So our second trip was for my cousins wedding! Forrest and I made this trip alone. Which we actually get to do at least once a year thanks to Grandma!! This time our dear friend Megan watched the kiddies for us! Bless technology we sent pictures back and forth, which made the trip not as hard! We had a blast met some amazing new friends, and took in a session at the Las Vegas Temple which was amazing!

On March 27,2010 my Beautiful cousin married Salvador Medina! I am so proud of her, she is such an amazing person! Salvador is very lucky to have her in his life! The reception was beautiful! I was so sad to leave my family, but so much more excited to come back to the kids!! As much as I love spending time with my hubby alone, it's so hard being away from my babies!!

So on Janurary 8,2010 we celebrated Bryan Anthony Ray Socci's birthday! It was a pretty crazy week cuz we just moved. And I totally forgot about my blog! So I just feel aweful for not posting anything about my Bryan! Bryan by far was my healthiest pregnancy! I think I understand why he wants fruit all the time;it's because I wanted fruit all the time! This little boy is such a joy in my life. I truely believe he has the devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other! Most of the time he chooses the angel and the rest of the time he thinks the devil is the better way to go! OI!! I love this boy so much though I can't even describe!! He is such a loving kid! He'll crawl into my bed in the morning and pat my face and just look and me with such loveing eyes!! It makes my heart melt! The day you were born was another best day of my life!! I am truely blessed to be your Mother!! Daddy of course is so excited to have another boy, especially a boy that is a rough and tuff as he is!! He is just like his Daddy! So Happy Birthday my Baby Bryan (I know your not a baby anymore but you will always be my baby!) I love you!!

Forrest Jr. is 5 today. It is actually a little overwhelming to think that 5 years ago a beautiful baby boy was born. I remember being pregnant for the first time how nervous and scared I was to think that I was going to be responsible for a life, when he came though all those fears went away, and those mother instincts were instantly put in. I remember when Forrest was born he had to spend time in the nursery, and we almost didn't get to take him home, but with a blessing from my Father and Faith we were able to take him home the same day I went home. This kid has brought so much joy in our life, I truely couldn't imagine life without him. I love him so very much, and I thank God for bringing him into my life. He has become such a light to all of us, no matter what Forrest Jr. does in his life, I know he will make the best of it, and I can't wait to continue to watch this amazing kid grow! We love you booshamushka and hope your day is filled with love and so much fun!

Today is a super special day! My baby girl is 1! I can't believe it really, how time fly's. I can remember the day she was born like yesterday, probably because when she came 1. I still didn't believe she was a girl, and 2. I had many complications during the whole pregnancy. I remember when she finaly came out, I asked if she was really a girl, and when many people confirmed it, it really hit at that moment that we had a girl! She has been such a blessing to all of us in our tiny little family. Her brothers love her so much, and it is obvious!
So to my baby girl Happy Birthday, I love you so much, and can't wait to celebrate more wonderful birthdays with you, and I can't wait to watch you grow up to be a beautiful woman someday, you already are such a beautiful light in my life!

Katee JoAn Lorraine Socci! This is also a big month for her she turns 1 on the 13'th! I seriously can't belive that the baby of the family

is going to be 1! When i was prego with her i was so nervous to have a girl, but when she came all that fear went away! It is so exciting to shop for girlie cloths! She is so blessed to have the best big brothers, they are so sweet and kind to her always trying to help with anything! This girl is always smiling, but will definatly let you know when she needs something! I say that se has Forrest and Bryan's personality so far! I can't wait to see how she will grow up! I love this little girl and couldn't have imagined life with out her! We are so blessed to have her in our Family!

Bryan Anthony Ray Socci! 2 1/2 years of age and my wild child! Do not make him mad or you will feel his wrath! However give him hugs and kisses and he will give them back ten fold! He reminds me of his daddy! Such a flirt! I'm curious to see how he will do when forrest is at school all week! Those two are inseparable, what ever Forrest does Bryan trys to copy! At least it's nothing bad but usually very funny! I will say it with all three kids! I love this kid more than life itself and feel so blessed to have him in our life!

This is a big month for him he turns 5 on the 20'th, and then starts school on the 24'th! He is completly excited. He talks about it on a daily basis! I wish I could say that I was exagerating, but i'm not! I am as equally excited for him. He is my goofer boy, and i'm sure he will make friends fast! He is also so excited to start learning things! Currently he is so in to Harry Potter, so we started reading a few pages of the first book everynight! I love this kid with every fiber of my being and am so blessed that he is in our lifes!

Oh the mountains

So to escape this hole we live in, we went for a drive to Mt. Baldy, it was so much fun, we cooked dinner and brought it with us! Then we walked down to where the creek was running, and that's where the fun really started! I rolled up the boys pants and they had a field day. To keep them somewhat warm afterwards we took there shirts off, and boy did they get even more wet! It was such a joy to watch them play. Forrest Jr reminded me of a little Tom Sawyer! And Bryan, oh my he would go in the water and come out to play in the mud. I loved it! I love making memories with my family!

Bryan, Karen, and Maddie

For those of you who don't know this is my little brother Bryan his beautiful wife Karen, and there sweet baby girl Madeline (Maddie for short). They were recently sealed this past weekend. I love them very much and couldn't be prouder of what they have accomplised. I was even more excited that I got to be in there to witness this beautiful event. Hopefully i will have a picture from the sealing up soon!

So this is my amazing little family! Forrest jr in the center is the oldest in a month he will be turning 5, which by the way i'm in total denial, yet so excited to be watching this kid to grow up to be and do whatever it is he wants to be! Bryan is sitting in Big Forrest's lap. My wild child he is 2 and a half and keeps me on my toes, but at the same time such a lovey dovey boy always giving us hugs and kisses! The newest one (well in this pic) is Katee Jo. Yaay we were able to have a girl! We were so excited to find out she was a girl because she is our final one. She is now 11 months going on a year! Sad to not see the little infant face anymore so excited to see what she will become! So there we have it my first real blog, it's been a year in the making, so here it is! I hope you all enjoy and will come back to read more about what is going on!
